Today, in the United States, we live in a time where our very liberties and freedoms are threatened. For the last several decades, career politicians have managed to create an oligarchy that rules over us with an iron fist. Any attempt by someone outside this oligarchy to run for office is ruthlessly put down.
These people have created a system that prevents ordinary citizens from entering public service without first having obtained the blessings of either the Democratic or Republican parties. This prevents an ordinary Middle Class person from ever mounting a successful campaign.
If we are to return this nation to a representative republic our Founding Fathers intended it to be, we must completely change the paradigm on how and whom we elect to public office.
I am an ordinary Middle class citizen who has managed to raise five sons all within the limitations, laws and oppressive taxes forced upon most Americans. Like you I have had to hold down a job I don’t particularly like in order to put a roof over my families head, food in their stomachs and clothes on their backs, while at the same time worrying if the money that I am forced to pay into Social Security will even be there when I retire.
Our American way of life is being assaulted from all directions. The nation’s morals have decayed where hedonists almost outnumber good people. Illegal Immigrants flow into this nation like a raging torrent with no containment in sight. We have just witnessed the greatest fraud to ever be perpetrated upon the American People. The people responsible for the economic collapse resulting from this fraud were rewarded instead of punished and or our nation’s children will be paying for it for generations to come. Nearly all of us have been touched by this crisis one way or another but those leading this nation have allowed the perpetrators off Scott free. There is only one way to redress the situation and that is to vote them all out.
The time has come to take our nation back from the out of control federal government and put it back into the hands of the States and the People.
As I have pointed out earlier I am not any better or any worse than any of you good hard working patriots. Like Cincinattus of Ancient Rome, a citizen should reluctantly take up the mantle of power and should do what is good and right for the nation and the people. Holding public office is an honor and a privilege and should not be seen as a means to gain power and wealth. As it has become now, career politicians see public service primarily as a way to provide a livelihood and a way to gain power at the people’s expense.
I have lived in this nation for over a half century. During this time I have gained all the knowledge necessary to make the difficult decisions to return our great nation to its rightful place in the world. Should I be afforded the opportunity to lead this nation, I will do what is best for the nation and its people. It will be up to you good, free and patriotic people to elect a person who will do the will of the people within the confines of the United States Constitution.
I humbly stand before you and offer myself up to be the next President of the United States of America.
